The Old Railroad Tunnel Was Warm in Winter

Brandon Drake's Personal Log – October to December 2025 Saved on local encrypted drive (D:/B_Drake/Archive/Field_Notes_09) Automatic cloud backups: DISABLED Sector recovery key: 994-Alpha-X Oct 14 The replacement carburetor for the old Troy-Bilt leaf blower finally arrived from that warehouse in Indiana. Took two weeks. Two weeks for a stamped piece of aluminum and a rubber gasket that doesn't even sit flush against the intake manifold. Main job as far as I can tell: count the pine trees on the ridge every morning at six sharp using the binoculars in the cabinet, write the number down. Yesterday's count in the log book was 412. That's apparently the number it's supposed to be, more or less, give or take a young tree coming in or an old one falling, which happens. Rest o...
